The FilmLA Foundation will build on FilmLA’s past research and public education efforts to operate a Community Education Initiative without end — one that sustains an ongoing public conversation about the importance of the film economy and empowers a new generation of industry champions.   

The FilmLA Foundation will continue to produce informative research products focused on California’s legacy as a leading global production destination, with abundant resources to support film production at sustainably high levels.

The FilmLA Foundation will continue to celebrate the contributions of emerging and underrepresented filmmakers and working professionals to our internationally recognized creative community.

The FilmLA Foundation will create change in our communities through a compelling series of limited-duration, high-visibility campaigns to ensure continuity of awareness and support for filming across Southern California and in Sacramento.
